CLINT'S STORY
Born in 1982 in Adelaide, South Australia. Started earning at 12, collecting newspaper subscription money door-to-door for a local newsagent — effectively a debt collector on 4% commission. Worked the fruit and veg section at Woolworths at 15, then moved to Tropicana Fruit & Veg. At 17, packed up and lived in Nagano, Japan for a year.
Came home and spent three years managing Domino's Pizza stores, then five years at Newtons Building & Landscape Supplies — learning the trade that would shape everything. Started Fluid Designs — a water feature construction business that evolved into irrigation installation and new lawns — before launching Waterpro in 2010.
Waterpro grew into South Australia's leading irrigation business. In 2018, Clint launched Lawnhub — a DTC lawn care brand that hit eight figures in under seven years. Along the way, acquired Railways Landscape Supplies in 2019 (divested 2024), and Wateresource in 2025 to expand distribution. Today, Hectogon Group is the umbrella over it all, tracking toward $100M.
